About Eduardo

Edu Rotiroti is Level 3 Coach at Newtown, plus a Reformer Pilates instructor at Marrickville. His fitness journey started in his native Argentina, where he trained in Taekwondo. It continued in Europe as a semi-professional runner and a cross country warrior. His passion for fitness became his profession when he moved to Australia over a decade ago. He quickly realised that his real loves lay in the principles of biomechanics, functional training, postural re-training and injury prevention and management.

With his solid knowledge and experience, Edu has created his own innovative training method that mixes the foundations of strength conditioning training with pilates. This approach has proven to be the perfect combination to improve mobility, motor control, posture and strength in all his athletes.

Training Philosophy

I like to provide a balanced approach to training by prioritising quality over quantity. I identify movement dysfunction by observing fundamental movement patterns. I create the most holistic approach to functional training by improving mobility, motor control, core and gluteus activation. Then I apply those gains into compound functional exercises like deadlifts, squats, lunges, push-ups, pulls, carries and holds. First move well, then move often.
